How to add http://ftp.sernet.de as installation source (YaST):

For example for OpenSUSE 11.2 (3.4 packages, all architectures): 

- start yast
- 'Software' -> 'Installation Source'
- 'Add'
- 'HTTP'
- 'Server Name: ftp.sernet.de'
- 'Directory on Server: /pub/samba/3.4/suse/11.2'
- 'Next'

For 3.4 packages the "Directory on Server" would be:
  /pub/samba/3.4/suse/11.2



For example for SLES11 (3.4 packages, all architectures):

- start yast
- 'Software' -> 'Installation Source'
- 'Add'
- 'HTTP'
- 'Server Name: ftp.sernet.de'
- 'Directory on Server: /pub/samba/3.4/sles/11'
- 'Next'

For 3.4 packages the "Directory on Server" would be:
  /pub/samba/3.4/sles/11
